2020 Ming Chuan University “The Media and Audience in the Post-truth Era” Academic Symposium is going to be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 on Taipei campus of Ming Chuan University.

The 6 subtopics of the Symposium are as follows:

1. Media Communication Theory and Methodology in the Post-truth Era

2. Media Industry Development and Applications in the Post-truth Era

3. Revolution and Innovation of Communication Technology in the Post-truth Era

4. Mass Communication Media Practices and Applications in the Post-truth Era

5. Media Cultural Literacy in the Post-truth Era

6. Other subtopics related to Communication Studies and Research

【Registration Information】

1. Registration Period: 2019/11/7 (Thu) – 2019/12/20 (Fri).

2. Please refer to paper template for editing information.

3. Abstracts and relevant information for registration should be submitted through the electronic form.

4. Preliminary review results will be announced on MCU Advertising and Strategic Marketing FB page, MCU School of Communication webpage and Email notices.

1. Deadline for Submitting Abstract: 23:59, 2019/12/20 (Fri).

2. Summary preliminary review result announcement: 2019/12/23 (Mon).

3. Deadline for Papers: 23:59, 2020/1/31 (Fri).

4. Secondary paper review results announcement: 2020/2/14 (Fri).

5. Period for Paying Registration Fee: 2019/12/23 (Mon)- 2019/12/30 (Mon). 

【Notice for Abstract Submission】

The submission period for preliminary review is from November 7, 2019 to 23:59, December 20, 2019. Please submit the electronic documents: abstract in Chinese and English (appendix 2), personal information agreement (appendix 3), and paper authorization form (appendix 4) in the Google form for registration (Google Form: https://forms.gle/gJupK6JgnxnRJRgT9).  Please note all forms are in Chinese only.
